Yummy Mex Skillet Dinner
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 12 onion, chopped (optional or you can use onion powder for those that don't like the onion pieces, like DH!)
- 2 -3 cups cooked egg noodles (or any noodle you prefer)
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cheese soup (the fiesta blend would also be great!)
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can chicken broth or 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can water
- 1 12 tablespoons taco seasoning (to taste)
- salt and pepper, to taste
- sour cream (optional)
- salsa (optional)
- In a pot cook the noodles according to package, or you can throw them with the meat and sauce if you'd like.
- In a large skillet, brown meat and onion til done; strain and return to skillet.
- Add broth, chicken broth, taco seasoning and noodles.
- Cook on medium low heat for 10 minutes for flavors to incorporate.
- If sauce seems to thick, add a little more broth or water.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve with a dallop of sour cream.
- Enjoy!
- *OPTIONS* For a twist, throw in some frozen corn and black beans.
