Perfect Steak

  1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. Heat pan to medium heat.
  3. Wash and peel sweet potato.
  4. Cut in half, and set one aside.
  5. Using other half, cut into strips 1/2"x1/2".
  6. In mixing bowl, microwave butter for 30 seconds to melt.
  7. Set 1 tbsp buttee aside.
  8. Add lemon juice, tobasco sauce, and brown sugar to remaining butter.
  9. Stir together.
  10. Shake fries in butter, and place on foil-lined baking pan.
  11. Season with salt to taste, and place in oven.
  12. Cook for 10 minutes, then flip, and cook for another 5-7.
  13. Pour butter mix in pan, and add steak.
  14. Wash onion, cut slice, remove core and quarter the rest.
  15. Add to pan.
  16. Cover and cook steak for 15 minutes on medium heat.
  17. Flip every 2-3 minutes, while spooning sauce over top.
  18. Remove steak from heat, let drain for 15-20 seconds, and plate.
  19. Garnish with onions.
  20. Remove fries from oven and plate.
