Greek Turkey Burgers with Tzatziki Sauce
- 6 ounces, weight Non-Fat Greek Yogurt
- 1 teaspoon Dried Dill
- 1 teaspoon Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1/4 cups Chopped Cucumber
- 2 Tablespoons Chopped Red Onion
- 1 pound Ground Turkey
- 1 cup Feta Cheese, Crumbled
- 13 cups Red Onion, Chopped
- 1 teaspoon Dried Dill
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
- 1 clove Garlic, Finely Chopped
- Whole Wheat Rolls, For Serving
- Lettuce/Tomato, For Garnish - If Desired
- For the sauce:
- Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
- The longer it sits, the better it will taste, so you can even make this a day in advance.
- For the burgers:
- Heat a grill/grill pan to medium high.
- Mix all ingredients for the meat in a large bowl and form into four patties.
- Place on the grill and cook 810 minutes, flipping halfway through, until meat is no longer pink on the inside.
- Place on buns and serve by distributing sauce onto each patty.
- Garnish with extra tomato slices or lettuce.
