Ice Skating Wonderland Cake

  1. Prepare cake batter and bake in 2 (9-inch) round pans as directed on package.
  2. Cool cakes in pans 15 min.
  3. (Do not remove cakes from pans.)
  4. Add boiling water to gelatin mixes; stir 2 min.
  5. until completely dissolved.
  6. Pierce cakes with large fork or skewer at 1/2-inch intervals.
  7. Pour gelatin over cakes.
  8. Refrigerate 4 hours.
  9. Unmold 1 cake layer onto serving plate; spread with 1/2 cup COOL WHIP.
  10. Unmold second cake layer; carefully place on top of first layer.
  11. Frost top and side of cake with 2 cups of the remaining COOL WHIP.
  12. Tint remaining COOL WHIP with food coloring; spread on top of cake to resemble ice rink.
  13. Outline outside edge of "ice rink" with decorating gel.
  14. Refrigerate 1 hour.
  15. Decorate top of cake with candy-coated chocolate pieces.
  16. Add graham snacks for the "ice skaters."
  17. Decorate ice cream cones with green decorating icing; place around ice rink.
  18. Sprinkle cake with coconut then sugar.
