Taco Bake

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Dice the peppers and onion--if you don't like spicy, you can leave these out.
  3. Get creative with it.
  4. Put ground beef in pan with peppers; brown and crumble the meat then drain excess grease
  5. Add in taco seasoning and water
  6. When meat is ready, turn off heat and add in salsa.
  7. Stir until combined
  8. Prepare an 8 inch round baking pan.
  9. Layer bottom with tortilla
  10. Add 1/3 meat on first layer
  11. Add 1/3 cheese
  12. Continue until done with all layers: another tortilla, taco meat, cheese
  13. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and edges are slightly golden brown
  14. Cool for a couple minutes then slice and serve
  15. Garnish with sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, or however you want!
