Beef With Broccoli
- 12 lb beef, sliced very fine
- 1 lb broccoli
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sherry wine
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 6 tablespoons oil
- 2 tablespoons water
- Cut broccoli spears, then split into 2 or 4 sections.
- Slice stalk into thin slices.
- Mix cornstarch, soy sauce, sesame oil, sherry and beef.
- Heat 3 Tblsp.
- oil in frying pan until hot.
- Stir-fry broccoli 1 minute; add 2 Tblsp.
- water; cook 2 more minutes; remove from pan; set aside.
- Heat 3 more Tblsp.
- oil in frying pan until hot.
- Stir-fry beef mixture 2 minutes.
- Add broccoli to beef and stir well 2 more minutes.
- Serve hot.
