Coconut Pecan Frosting
- 23 cup sugar
- 23 cup canned milk
- 2 egg yolks
- 13 cup Crisco
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 13 cups flaked coconut
- 23 cup chopped pecans
- In sauce pan, combine sugar, canned milk, egg yolks, Crisco, and Vanilla.
- Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat 12 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Add coconut and pecans, mixing until frosting is thick, let stand 15 minutes.
- Spread ontop of cake layers.
