Tarragon Brie in Puffed Pastry
- 1 package (8 Oz. Package) Brie
- 1- 1/2 teaspoon Fresh Tarragon, Chopped
- 1 whole Puffed Pastry
- 1 Tablespoon Water
- Thaw puffed pastry on counter.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Cut brie in half from side to side (creating two rounds).
- Chop tarragon and sprinkle on top of the bottom round of brie.
- Place top piece back on.
- Set cheese in the middle of the puffed pastry.
- Cut the pastry into a circle, leaving about 4 inches of pastry outside of the brie.
- Fold up the sides of the pastry.
- Dip your fingers into the water and rub all seams of the pastry to seal all seams so that cheese does not melt and come out.
- Turn the pastry and brie seam-side down onto a baking sheet.
- Use a cookie cutter or cut designs out of leftover pastry and place on top.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until dark golden brown.
