Blue Cheese-Sundried Tomato Burger
- 24 each ground sirloin beef patties
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1-1/2 cups ATHENOS Crumbled Blue Cheese
- 24 each sesame seed sandwich rolls, split, toasted
- 3 cups A.1. Gourmet Sauce, Sundried Tomato
- - red onions, sliced, separated into rings
- 8 each tomatoes, each cut into 6 slices Safeway 1 lb For $1.29 thru 02/09
- 24 each leaf lettuce
- For each serving: Season 1 patty with salt and pepper.
- Grill on medium-high heat 2 to 3 min.
- on each side or to medium (160 degrees F), or desired doneness.
- Top with 1 Tbsp.
- cheese.
- Grill an additional 30 sec.
- or until cheese is softened.
- Spread cut sides of 1 of the rolls with 2 Tbsp.
- tomato sauce.
- Place burger on bottom half of roll; top with 1/2 oz.
- onions, 2 tomato slices and 1 lettuce leaf.
- Cover with top of roll.
