Best Burritos Recipe
- 1 tbsp. Crisco
- 1 sm. onion, minced
- 2 pound grnd chuck
- 1 pkg. dry taco seasoning
- 1 c. water
- 1 sm. (8 ounce.) can refried beans
- Flour tortilla shells
- 1 (12 ounce.) jar Heinz brown gravy
- 1 (10 ounce.) can "mild" enchilada sauce
- 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- Shredded lettuce
- Diced tomatoes
- Shredded Cheddar cheese
- Saute/fry onion in Crisco; add in grnd chuck and fry till done.
- Drain and add in seasoning, 1 c. water and refried beans (optional).
- Simmer for 15 min.
- Mix together gravy, enchilada sauce and tomato sauce, plus 1/2 c. water till warm.
- Set aside.
- Heat flour shells; lay flat and add in meat mix, lettuce and tomatoes.
- Fold shell and flip folded side down.
- Cover with sauce and shredded cheese.
- Microwave till cheese is melted.
