Kastengel (Christmas Cheese-Cookies)
- 400 grams flour
- 175 grams butter
- 175 grams margarine
- 200 grams edam cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 4 egg yolks
- Whisk butter, margarine, egg yolks, and salt
- Add flour and cheese
- Form the dough into a rectangle.
- (Measure: 2 cm x 4 cm , thick: 1cm)
- Spread egg yolk on top rectangels and sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Bake at 190 Celcius for 15 more minutes
- Kastengels is ready to serve
