Habenero Pomegranate Hot Sauce

  1. Chop peppers, onion and garlic.
  2. Set inside food processor.
  3. Remove all seeds from pomegranate and run through a juicer.
  4. Will produce roughly 4-5 ounces of juice with no pulp or seeds.
  5. add all items (except pom juice)and just enough vinegar to the food processor and let it chop as fine as it will get.
  6. Simmer pomegranate juice on low, stirring frequently, until you notice it is just starting to thicken up.
  7. Just trying to evaporate some of the water from the juice.
  8. add all items to pomegranate juice and simmer on very low for about half an hour.
  9. Let cool completely then strain with cheesecloth or coffee filters.
  10. Gives a nice sweet note right up front and then the habs take it from there.
  11. Very interesting flavor.
  12. My new favorite of my homemades!
