Pasta and Peas
- 2 ounces, fluid Olive Oil
- 1 whole Yellow Onion, Thinly Sliced
- 1 Tablespoon Sea Salt
- 1 dash Black Peppper
- 2 cans Sweet Baby Peas, Undrained 15 Oz Cans
- 1 pound Elbows Pasta (Use Your Favorite)
- Parmesan Cheese For Garnish
- In a medium saucepan, saute onion, salt and black pepper in oil over low heat.
- Once onions are translucent, add peas.
- Let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
- While peas are cooking, boil water (I always add salt for flavor) for the pasta.
- When water boils, add pasta and cook according to box directions.
- Once pasta is cooked, drain it and put it in a pasta bowl.
- Add the peas and onions.
- Garnish with Parmesan cheese.
- Enjoy.
- Its my kids favorite dinner.
