Bologna Bean Chowder Recipe
- 8 ounce. navy beans
- 1 (16 ounce.) can tomatoes
- 8 ounce. bologna, cut in pcs
- 3 tbsp. dry onion soup mix
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- Rinse, sort and soak beans in 3 c. water overnight.
- Don't drain.
- Add in 1/2 tsp.
- salt.
- Cover and simmer 1 hour.
- Add in bologna, tomatoes and soup mix.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
- Simmer 15 min, stirring occasionally.
- Add in lowfat milk, heat through and serve.
- Like chili, this is a hearty meal.
