Maple Chicken Drumettes
- 14 cup real maple syrup (I used sugar free maple syrup)
- 14 cup chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives (I used dried)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 12 teaspoon ground mustard
- 14 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne, if desired)
- 2 lbs chicken drummettes (I am using pkg of regular chicken wings both pieces type, about 20)
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix all ingredients except chicken.
- Place chicken in ungreased jelly roll pan (15-1/2 X 10-1/2 X 1 inch).
- Pour syrup mixture over chicken, turn chicken to coat.
- Bake uncovered 45 -55 minutes, turning once & brushing with sauce after 30 minutes until juice of chicken is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut.
- Serve chicken with sauce.
- Can be served with blue cheese dressing or chili sauce.
