Michigan Lasagna
- 1 pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 large cottage cheese (put in strainer for 30 minutes)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb. Italian ground sausage
- 1 large jar Prego chunky vegetable sauce
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 2 large pkg. Mozzarella cheese
- Cook noodles according to package directions.
- Beat egg and mix with cottage cheese, parsley and garlic.
- Brown beef and sausage (drain) and add Prego and tomato paste.
- Simmer (if too thick, add a little water).
- Coat 9 x 13-inch pan with a little oil.
- Layer noodles, meat sauce, then egg and cheese mixture, then noodles.
- Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce.
- Bake at 375u0b0 covered for 1/2 hour.
- Remove cover and bake 1/2 hour more.
