Simple Stir Fried Squid and Garlic Shoots
- 1 Squid
- 1/2 bunch Garlic shoots
- 1/2 stalk Japanese leek
- 1 tsp Katakuriko
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 dash Sake
- 1 heaping teaspoon Chicken stock granules
- 1 Sesame oil
- 1 Mayonnaise
- Chop the garlic shoots into 5 ~ 6 cm, and parboil.
- Cut the squid into bite-size pieces.
- Cut the Japanese leek diagonally into thin slices.
- Sprinkle the squid with a small amount of sake and salt, then coat with katakuriko.
- Heat sesame oil in a pan, and stir-fry the squid.
- When the colour starts to change, add garlic shoots, Japanese leek, chicken stock granules, and continue stir-frying.
- Season with salt and pepper (not listed).
- Squeeze a circle of mayonnaise on top, mix together, and serve!
