Simple Stir Fried Squid and Garlic Shoots

  1. Chop the garlic shoots into 5 ~ 6 cm, and parboil.
  2. Cut the squid into bite-size pieces.
  3. Cut the Japanese leek diagonally into thin slices.
  4. Sprinkle the squid with a small amount of sake and salt, then coat with katakuriko.
  5. Heat sesame oil in a pan, and stir-fry the squid.
  6. When the colour starts to change, add garlic shoots, Japanese leek, chicken stock granules, and continue stir-frying.
  7. Season with salt and pepper (not listed).
  8. Squeeze a circle of mayonnaise on top, mix together, and serve!
