Garlic Crostini with Cream Cheese, Smoked Salmon and Dill
- 2 ounces, weight Melted Unsalted Butter
- 2 cloves Finely Minced Garlic
- 1 whole French Baguette, 1/2 Inch Slices, Sliced On A Bias
- 4 ounces, weight Whipped Cream Cheese
- 1/2 whole Thinly Sliced Cucumber
- 4 whole Thinly Sliced Radishes
- 4 ounces, weight Thinly Sliced Smoked Salmon
- Fresh Dill, For Garnish
- Capers For Garnish
- Kosher Salt And Fresh Cracked Pepper To Taste
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a small bowl combine the butter and garlic.
- Brush butter mixture onto one side of each slice of French bread.
- Transfer to a sheet pan lined with parchment paper (butter side up) and bake in the oven on 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove pan from oven.
- Next, spread a small amount of the cream cheese on each of the crostini.
- Then top with a few slices of cucumber, radishes, 1 slice of smoked salmon, a small sprig of fresh dill and a few capers.
- Add salt and pepper to taste and serve.
