Easy Shrimp Creole
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 12 cup celery, chopped
- 12 cup onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 lbs shrimp, cooked
- 1 (1 lb) can tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 12 cup chili sauce
- 12 teaspoon thyme
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- Saute vegetables in butter until softened.
- Add the shrimp and remaining ingredients.
- Mix and cover skillet.
- Simmer over low heat and for 20 minutes.
- Serve with rice.
