Green Chile Mini Burgers
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1 (4-ounce) can chopped green chiles
- 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 4 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes Deli American, cut into quarters
- 8 slider or dollar-sized buns, split
- 8 slices yellow tomato
- 8 arugula leaves
- Heat gas grill on medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.
- Combine sour cream, 1 tablespoon green chiles and 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce in bowl.
- Cover; refrigerate until serving time.
- Combine remaining chopped green chiles, ground beef, onion, hot pepper sauce, salt and pepper in bowl.
- Shape into 8 small patties.
- Place patties onto grill.
- Grill, turning once, 8-10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches at least 160F and meat is no longer pink in center.
- Top each burger with 2 pieces cheese; let melt slightly.
- Spread 2 teaspoons sour cream mixture onto bottom half of each bun.
- Top each with 1 burger, 1 slice tomato, 2 arugula leaves and top half of bun.
