Easy and Authentic Seafood Doria with Mushrooms

  1. Mince the onion.
  2. Remove the stems from the mushrooms, and separate into pieces.
  3. Lightly wash the mixed frozen seafood, and strain away the excess water.
  4. Heat the butter in a frying pan, and saute the onion.
  5. When it starts to become soft and wilted, add the mushrooms, and continue stir-frying.
  6. When the mushrooms become soft, add the mixed frozen seafood.
  7. Swirl in the white wine, and evaporate the alcohol.
  8. Add the flour, and mix without making lumps.
  9. Stir well with a wooden spatula, and pour in the milk in 2-3 batches.
  10. Add the consomme cube, salt, and pepper.
  11. Simmer until it becomes your desired consistency while stirring constantly (Refer to Helpful Hints).
  12. Turn off the heat, add in the rice, and mix well.
  13. When you are using refrigerated or frozen rice, warm it up before adding it to the pan.
  14. Transfer into a heatproof dish, sprinkle with the pizza cheese, and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes at 250C until the surface has browned.
  15. When baked, sprinkle with parsley, and enjoy.
