Shoe Peg Corn Salad Recipe
- 1 (17 ounce.) can sm. English peas, liquid removed
- 1 (17 ounce.) can shoe peg corn, liquid removed
- 1 (3 ounce.) jar minced pimento
- 1 c. finely minced green pepper
- 1 c. finely minced onion
- 1 c. finely minced celery
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- Combine and mix salad ingredients in large container.
- Combine syrup ingredients in saucepan.
- Bring to boil, remove from heat and let cold.
- Pour syrup over salad, mix well, chill and serve.
- Serves 10.
