Tofu and Cabbage Okonomiyaki
- 1/2 block Firm tofu
- 3 leaves Cabbage
- 2 tsp Bonito dashi stock granules
- 1 Cheese and other ingredients
- 1 as much as you'd like Okonomiyaki sauce
- 1 Mayonnaise (optional)
- Add the tofu (without draining) into a bowl and mash.
- Cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces, and cut your favourite ingredients as well.
- Add the ingredients into the bowl with the tofu, and mix in the bonito flavoured dashi stock granules.
- Transfer the Step 2 mixture onto a flat plate, smooth it out, then cover with plastic wrap.
- Microwave for 6 minutes.
- When it's cooked, remove from the microwave, swirl the sauce on, and you're done.
- It's ok even if the shape of okonomiyaki collapses after microwaving.
- Flatten it again along the shape of the plate, then it will go back to the original shape.
