All American Loaded Burgers
- 1 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 lb ground beef ( I use ground chuck)
- 6 kaiser rolls, split
- 1 leaf lettuce
- 1 tomato slices
- 1 ketchup
- 1 prepared mustard
- 1 french fried onions
- 1 Cheese slices
- In a large bowl, combine breadcrumbs, onion, salad dressing, and eggs.
- Crumble beef over mixture and mix well.
- Shape into 6 patties.
- Broil 4 inches from heat 5 to 7 minutes on each side or until meat thermometer reads 160 and juices run clear.
- Serve on rolls with lettuce, cheese, tomato, ketchup, mustard, and french fried onions if desired.
- *You can also grill these burgers if you prefer.
