Beef Brisket (Kosher)

  1. Place onions in roasting pan.
  2. Top with meat.
  3. Mix soup, wine, catsup, sugar and onion soup mix; pour over meat.
  4. Cover with foil; pierce foil in several places with sharp knife or fork to vent.
  5. Bake at 350F for 3-1/2 to 4 hours or until tender.
  6. Let stand, covered, 10 minutes before slicing to serve.
  7. Serve with meat drippings.
  8. Note: Recipe can be prepared 1 to 2 days in advance.
  9. Roast and slice meat as directed.
  10. Return meat to roasting pan; cover with meat drippings.
  11. Cover.
  12. Refrigerate.
  13. When ready to serve, reheat, covered, in 350F oven for 1 hour or until heated through.
