Microwaved Paper-Wrapped Steamed Salmon With Yummy Miso-Mayonnaise Sauce!
- 2 pieces Raw or lightly salted salmon
- 1/2 large Onion
- 2 King oyster mushrooms
- 1 tbsp Miso
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 bunch Spinach
- 1 Carrot
- If using raw salmon, sprinkle with salt.
- I used lightly salted salmon this time.
- Put the salmon filet on a piece of kitchen parchment paper.
- Slice the onion thinly, and cut the king oyster mushrooms up into easy to eat pieces.
- Put both on top of the salmon.
- (You can add the spinach later on the side, or add it at this stage.)
- Mix the ingredients (1 tablespoon miso, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon mirin) together, and spoon over the salmon and vegetables.
- Wrap up the salmon packets and place on the edges of the microwave oven turntable.
- Microwave for 7 minutes at 700w.
- Adjust the cooking time depending on your microwave.
- it's best if the sauce is a bit browned!
- Wash the spinach and drain.
- Cut it up, cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 1 and 1/2 minutes.
- Cook the carrots according toto make easy sweet carrots.
