Blackberry Basil Grilled Cheese

  1. Butter one side of your bread slices, then set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, smash the blackberries with a fork and then stir in the basil.
  3. Warm a skillet over medium-low heat.
  4. Place half of the slices of bread in the skillet, butter side down.
  5. Add a thin layer of cheese on top of each slice of bread.
  6. Spread with 2 tablespoons of the blackberry mixture, then another thin layer of cheese.
  7. Top with remaining bread slices.
  8. Toast in skillet, about 3-5 minutes per side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese melted.
  9. Enjoy!
