Rhubarb Applesauce Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 425F (220C).
  2. Combine applesauce with rhubarb, sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and tapioca; mix well.
  3. Turn into pastry-lined 9-inch pie pan.
  4. Dot with butter.
  5. Cover with lattice pastry top.
  6. Pie will boil over some, so place on a cookie sheet.
  7. Bake for about 50 minutes or until filling starts to bubble and crust is golden.
