Shortcut Strawberry Cake
- 1 c. colored miniature marshmallows
- 2 pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed (in syrup)
- 1 small pkg. strawberry gelatin
- 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
- Butter the bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Spread the miniaturetarshmallows
- evenly
- over
- the
- bottom.
- Combine strawberries, syrup and dry gelatin.
- In a large bowl, combine the rest
- of
- the ingredients.
- Blend and beat for 3 minutes. Spoon the batter over
- the marshmallows, then spoon the strawberry mixture over the batter.

- to 50 minutes. Serve hot, warm ortool
- with
- ice cream or whipped cream.
