Baked Ditali With Sweet And Hot Italian Sausages Recipe

  1. In a saucepan, heat the oil and brown the sausages proportionately.
  2. remove the sausages; cut them into thin slices.
  3. pour the oil out of the pan and throw away it, but leave the brown residue.
  4. Add in the tomato sauce to the pan pan; add in the sausage slices.
  5. Stir, cover and simmer for 20 min.
  6. Butter a baking dish and spoon a layer of the boiled, liquid removed ditali proportionately across the bottom; cover with a layer of sausage slices in the tomato sauce.
  7. Then spread with a layer of ricotta and sprinkle it with Parmesan cheese.
  8. Repeat the layering till all of the pasta, sausages and cheese are used, ending with a layer of sauce and cheese.
  9. Bake uncovered, in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25 min, or possibly till the sauce is bubbling.
  10. serve in warmed individual plates.
  11. Serves 6
