BBQ Beef Brisket
- 7 lb beef brisket
- 2 tbsp liquid smoke
- 1 garlic or onion salt
- 14 oz bottle catsup
- 4 tsp worchestershire sauce
- 6 tsp butter
- 1 tsp liquid smoke
- 1 pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 tsp celery seed
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tsp brown sugar
- 3 tsp dry mustard
- Rub liquid smoke over brisket and refrigerate overnigt
- When you are ready to cook, season brisket with garlic or onion salt and wrap in foil
- Bake 5 hours in a 300F oven
- Remove and allow to rest 10 min.
- Slice brisket against the grain
- Serve sauce seperatly
- Simmer all sauce ingredients together for 20 min.
- until mixture thickens
