Baked Swiss Steak Recipe

  1. Roll meat in flour and brown in fat in skillet.
  2. Place in a large, deep baking dish.
  3. Cut onion, pepper, celery, and carrots in large pcs and add in to the meat.
  4. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over the meat.
  5. Bake, covered, for 2 to 2 1/2 hrs, at 325 , till tender.
  6. Serves 6 to 8
