Shepherds Pie
- 1 pound Ground Beef Or Turkey
- 1 package Frozen Mixed Vegetables
- 3 cups Mashed Potatoes
- 1/2 whole Onion, Chopped
- 3/4 cups Shredded Cheese
- Brown ground beef or turkey; add onion when meat has about 5 to 7 minutes left.
- Put browned meat and onion into a casserole dish; top with mixed vegetables (I use the mixed vegetables that have, at the very least, carrots, corn and beans).
- Top veggies with the mashed potatoes and bake at 350 F for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Top with the cheese and return to the oven for an additional 15 minutes.
- You can make this ahead and bake for 45 minutes.
- When ready to serve, add cheese and bake for another 15 minutes.
- So yummy, we never have leftovers!
