Leftover Bread And Cheese Patties
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 pinch Black Pepper
- 1/2 cups Cheese, Feta Or Goat Cheese
- 4 stalks Scallions, Minced
- 1/4 bunches Parsley, Minced
- 3 slices Leftover Bread, Crumbled
- 1/2 cups Corn Oil To Fry
- Beat egg in a medium-sized bowl.
- Add black pepper and whisk.
- Crumble cheese and throw it into the bowl.
- Add in minced parsley and scallions.
- Toss in crumbled leftover bread.
- Mix them all well with a spoon.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet or pot over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, place a spoonful of the mixture into the frying pan.
- Fry 5 or 6 patties at one time, depending on the size of your pan.
- Fry each side for 1 or 2 minutes or until golden brown.
- Transfer patties to a paper towel to remove excess oil and serve warm while you finish cooking the rest of the batter.
