Cookie Dough Truffles

  1. In a bowl combine butter and sugar on med - high speed until light and fluffy (about 2 mins)
  2. Beat in the flour, sweetened milk, and vanilla until incorporated.
  3. Beating well after each addition
  4. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts
  5. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours so it's firm enough to handle
  6. Shape mixture into 1 inch balls by rolling a spoonful in the palm of your hand.
  7. The dough is sticky so you can roll your fingers in flour to make it easier
  8. Place on wax paper.
  9. Loosely cover and refrigerate for about 20-30 mins
  10. In a bowl melt chocolate candy coating
  11. Dip the cookie dough balls into the chocolate and place on parchment paper
  12. Let sit until hard (about 15 mins)
  13. Once set, remelt candy coating and drizzle over truffles
  14. Store in refrigerator and serve cold.
  15. They can also be frozen for longer storage
