Fig Cake the Original

  1. Cream sugar and butter add beaten eggs.
  2. Mix baking soda with buttermilk and add to first mixture.
  3. Gradually add flour and spices.
  4. Add figs,extract, nuts and cherries.
  5. Bake in greased and floured tube pan 1 hour and 20 minute at 300 F.
