Specialite De Le Maison Fruit Loaf

  1. Sift dry ingredients together.
  2. Pour hot water on the dried fruit, then drain.
  3. Add the mixed peel.
  4. I also add glace cherries, if available.
  5. Beat together eggs, melted butter and milk or water.
  6. Add the liquids with fruit to the dry ingredients.
  7. Bake at 170 degrees C for 1 hour, then in a cooler oven for 1/2 hour.
