Best Gingerbread Recipe

  1. Cream shortening and sugar, add in beaten Large eggs.
  2. Sift dry ingredients together.
  3. Mix molasses and warm water together.
  4. Add in dry ingredients and liquid alternately, a little at a time, beating after each addition.
  5. Bake in 9 x 9 x 2 inch greased and floured pan, 45 min at 350 degrees.
