  2. Combine wine, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and orange peel in saucepan.
  3. Stir to blend.

  5. Let stand 3-4 hours.

  7. Heat, but do not boil.

  9. Light with a match and pour burning into heatproof cups containing a few almonds and raisins.
