Savory Vegetable and Rice Skillet
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 12 cup chopped onion
- 1 (7 ounce) package ZATARAIN'S Chicken Flavor Rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup frozen French-cut green beans
- 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- sliced almonds, toasted
- Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat.
- Add onion; cook and stir 2 minutes or until softened.
- Stir in Rice Mix and water.
- Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20 minutes.
- Stir in green beans and mushrooms.
- Cover and cook 5 minutes longer or until rice is tender.
- Remove from heat.
- Let stand 5 minutes.
- Fluff with fork before serving.
- Sprinkle with almonds, if desired.
