Quick Beef Pie
- 1 1/2 pound beef ground
- 1 each onions chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 10 ounces soup, tomato can, condensed
- 16 ounces beans green, can, cut, drained
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups potatoes cooked, mashed, seasoned
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- Crumble beef into large fry pan.
- Add onion and salt, and cook until browned.
- Drain off excess fat.
- Add soup, green beans and pepper.
- Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Pour into a greased 2 quart casserole.
- Spread mashed potatoes over the top.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake at 350F (180C) for 20 minutes.
