Mexican Stuffed Green Peppers Recipe

  1. Wash peppers and cut a thin slice from the stem ends.
  2. Remove seeds and membrane.
  3. Cook in boiling water, covered for 5 min.
  4. Drain.
  5. Heat oil in a large skillet.
  6. Add in tomato paste, garlic, grnd chuck, salt, chili pwdr and nuts; cook 5 min over low heat.
  7. Spoon into peppers.
  8. Sprinkle tops with bread crumbs and dot with butter.
  9. Place in shallow baking pan and add in 1/2 inch of water.
  10. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 min.
  11. Makes 6 servings.
