Short Cut Cabbage Rolls Recipe
- 4 c. shredded cabbage
- 1 1/2 lbs. grnd pork
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 3 tbsp. instant chopped onion
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 (8 ounce.) can liquid removed sauerkraut
- 1 (6 ounce.) can tomato paste
- 2 c. water
- 1 c. dairy lowfat sour cream
- 1 can refrigerated rolls
- Minced parsley
- Spread cabbage in a casserole.
- Add in pork, rice, instant chopped onion, salt, pepper, paprika and garlic salt.
- Drain sauerkraut; spread over cabbage and pork mix.
- Mix tomato paste and 2 c. of water; pour over mix.
- Bake covered at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs till rice is tender.
- Remove from oven.
- Set oven temperature to 400 degrees.
- Spread top of casserole with lowfat sour cream.
- Open rolls and place on lowfat sour cream.
- Sprinkle with parsley.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 min.
- Serves 6.
