Banana Cream Pie

  1. Combine sugar, flour and salt in medium saucepan.
  2. Add eggs and beat well.
  3. Add milk and butter.
  4. Beat well.
  5. Cook slowly until thick.
  6. Let boil for 1 minute.
  7. Add 1/2 tsp vanilla.
  8. When cool, pour over sliced bananas in pie crust.
  9. Top with cool whip and banana slices if desired.
  10. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
