Ziti

  2. Preheat oven to 375F.

  4. Over medium heat cook chopped prosciutto until crispy (about 5 minutes).

  6. In a large bowl combine the cooked ziti (cook it according to package instructions for al dente), sauce, cooked prosciutto and 1/2 of the Parmesan cheese.
  7. Stir until fully combined.
  8. 4.
  9. Pour into a 9x9-baking dish.

  11. Cut up fresh mozzarella and mix it into pasta.
  12. Reserve 5-6 slices for top.
  13. 6.
  14. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  15. 7.
  16. Cover and cook for 30 minutes.
  17. (Note: I highly recommend placing on top of a cookie sheet to cook.
  18. This will help to catch any spillage).
  19. 8.
  20. Remove cover and cook and additional 5-10 minutes, or until cheese on top is fully melted and pasta is bubbling.
  21. 9.
  22. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
  23. Serve.
