Sunshine's green Chile ,bacon cheese pie

  1. Line a 9"inch pieplate with pie crust , trim excess pastry around edges, prick bottom and sides of pastry shell with a fork , place in refrigerator for 1 hour, then bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
  2. Let cool on rack
  3. Spread 1 1/2 cup of the cheese in pie shell evenly,
  4. Mix eggs ,half-and- half, chiles salt, bacon bits , pepper and cumin: beat until blended.
  5. Pour in to pie shell, put in oven and bake for 30 minutes , cover with foil take out sprinkle with the rest of cheese , uncover pie ,place back in for 10 minutes more or until set..turn on broil for 2 minutes .take out of oven ,Let stand 15 minutes on rack.
  6. before serving...enjoy
