Whet Your Appetite! Stir-Fried Kabocha Squash with Chinese-Seasoning
- 1/4 Kabocha squash
- 150 grams Pork (Pork belly or cut-end bits)
- 7 to 8 String beans
- 1 Salt and pepper
- 1/2 tsp Ginger (finely grated)
- 1/2 tsp Garlic (finely grated)
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 1/2 tsp Doubanjiang
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Chop the pork into bite-sized pieces and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Combine the ingredients marked with a .
- Parboil the string beans and cut them into thirds.
- Chop the kabocha squash into 4 to 5 cm length pieces, and then into 3 to 4 mm slices.
- Transfer to heat-resistant dish, wrap with saran wrap, and cook in microwave for 3 to 4 minutes at 600 W.
- Heat sesame oil in a frying pan, add the garlic and ginger and stir fry until aromatic, then add pork.
