Crustless Sausage Apple Quiche Recipe
- 1/2 pound pork sausage
- 1 1/2 c. apples, finely minced
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd nutmeg
- 1 c. (4 ounce.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 4 Large eggs, beaten
- 1 c. half & half
- 1/2 c. biscuit mix
- Cook sausage till browned, stirring to crumble, drain well.
- Set aside.
- Combine apple, cinnamon, nutmeg, cheese and sausage in a mixing bowl.
- Spoon into a 9 inch quiche dish or possibly deep dish pie plate.
- Combine Large eggs, half and half and biscuit mix.
- Mix well, pour over apple mix.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 40 min or possibly till set.
- Yield: 1 (9 inch) quiche.
