Tinklee's Chicken Fried Steak
- 2 cubed steaks
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp ground sage
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp oil for frying
- Combine flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and ground sage
- Combine egg and milk and mix well
- Set flour mixture and egg mixture in seperate dishes that you can dredge your meat in
- Have a frying pan with oil, heating at about 375F
- First dip your meat into the flour, then dip into the egg, then dip back into the flour once more, then into the preheated pan
- Fry until nice golden brown and crunchy on all sides
