Bean And Bacon Casserole Recipe
- 6 slices bacon, 3 diced and 3 cut in half
- 1 sm. onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 2 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 (5 ounce.) can red kidney beans
- 1 (1 lb.) can pork and beans
- 1 can condensed bean and bacon soup
- Put diced bacon and onion in skillet and cook till bacon is translucent/soft, but not crisp.
- Add in next 4 ingredients.
- Cook till heated and bubbling.
- Put remaining ingredients in a shallow 2 qt baking dish.
- Pour first mix over the top.
- Top with bacon slices.
- Bake for about 2 hrs at 325 degrees.
- Makes 6 servings.
